Derek Dubner, J.D.
General Counsel
Derek Dubner is General Counsel of JARI Research Corporation. He was named to this position in October 2005. Prior to this, he was general counsel of JARI Research Foundation.
In 1999, Mr. Dubner joined Seisint, Inc., a closely held corporation created by JARI's founder, Hank Asher. Mr. Dubner managed the legal affairs of a Seisint division until its spin-off in 2001. He was named general counsel and secretary of the new entity. After completing a series of acquisitions and venture capital investments, the company sold for $135 million in 2002.
Prior to joining Seisint, Derek served as a prosecutor for the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office.
Mr. Dubner received his Bachelor of Science with honors in economics/finance from Pennsylvania State University. He earned his law degree with honors from Florida State University. Mr. Dubner is a member of the Florida Bar.
